Achieve instant glamour with a side-swept braid

It’s one of those trends that just seems to get hotter and hotter.  Yes, braids are still everywhere on the red carpets.  And this is one style which is perfect for those of you with hair extensions, who need a quick yet super-cool way of keeping your hair tied back over the summer months.

At the recent BET Awards in LA, singers Alicia Keys and Eve wore their hair extensions in almost identical styles, featuring a side parting, sweeping fringe and the hair worn over the right shoulder. Alicia's featured a fishtail style of plait, while Eve went for a more slicked-down, traditional take on the style.  We think both look great, but you don’t need to go quite so elaborate to look sizzling this summer.  Whatever style of braid you choose, you’ll be working one of this year’s most popular trends.
