Angelina Jolie’s contrasting styles

This weekend sees the premiere of Angelina Jolie’s new film, Salt.  The actress took a year off to look after her twins but she’s about to return to the big screen playing CIA officer Evelyn Salt, who goes on the run after being accused of spying and plotting to kill the president.   And she’s looking on pretty good form, using hair extensions and colour to create two very different looks for her role.

Angelina starts out as a blonde, with a low, braided ponytail.  After going on the run, she becomes a dark-haired brunette, very much in the femme fatale style.

The darker look, styled with human hair extensions to create sharp, sleek lines, suggests a dramatic villainess. The blonde shade, coupled with lighter clothing and make-up, is a more natural and demure look. 

And while both styles look amazing on Angelina, each represents a dramatically different identity, which leaves viewers wondering which one represents the true personality of Evelyn Salt…
