Best celebrity hair extensions of 2010

2010 was the year of long hair.  We saw more stars of stage and screen sporting human hair extensions than ever before, as they sought to look as glam as possible on red carpets across the globe.  Following is just a small selection of some of our favourite celebrity hair extensions of 2010.

1. Drew Barrymore.  The Hollywood A-lister has that kind of face which lends itself well to all styles, but there was something effortlessly glamorous about her lengthened locks.

2. Jennifer Lopez.  The Latina diva didn't really alter her style much throughout the year, but we still are still coveting all that volume and shine.

3. Cheryl Cole.  She has switched the colour of her extensions from brown to cherry red and back again and experimented with braids and big bows, making her crowning glory one of the most talked-about in the land.

4. Katy Perry.  The new Mrs Brand is never afraid to take a risk and she showed her support for West Ham football club by sporting funky blue and purple extensions for a while last summer, creating quite a stir in the process.

5. Kim Kardashian.  OK, so many people may find the reality TV star irritating, but there is no denying her hair always looks amazingly sleek and glossy.
