Beyoncé, the blonde bombshell

Beyoncé has long been one of our favourite hair extensions devotees but she hasn’t tended to stray from her trademark wavy brunette tresses – until now.

The international pop icon has made quite a dramatic change by switching to platinum blonde hair extensions.  She was spotted out in Hollywood this week looking quite the bombshell, and her bold attire seemed to be making a statement as well: a black, figure-hugging mini dress was accessorised with gravity-defying, turquoise Louboutin heels.  Passers-by did notice that the star was struggling to walk properly in the crazy 6-inch stilettos.

Beyoncé always looks stunning, but this new look makes her look like a completely different person.
