Big hair is big news this winter

Posted by Jo Roberts on November 3, 2010

The Chanel, Vera Wang and Nina Ricci catwalks of autumn/winter 2010 were dominated by big and bold hairstyles. And celebrities like Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez and Lea Michele have all been experimenting with eye-catching, 'big' styles, using hair extensions to give them extra length, volume and shine.

To recreate Eva Longoria’s voluminous locks, follow these simple steps.

Firstly, if you don’t have super-long hair, add some clip-in hair extensions to give you more volume.

Wash your hair and towel dry, then apply some serum.  Blow dry, then gently back comb the roots to give instant lift.

Next, separate your hair into 5 sections and set into hot rollers.  Spray with a light hold hairspray and allow the curls to set for around 10 minutes.

Release the rollers, brush the hair back and tease out the curls to your liking.  And there you have it, instant A-lister glamour!
