Carrie Underwood rocks out with pink hair extensions

American Idol season 4 champ Carrie Underwood – who is best known for her demure looks and sweet country-style voice – stole the show at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday.  Looking as glamorous as ever on the red carpet, she swiftly changed into a fab rock chick outfit for her turn on stage, complete with a tiny black dress, gloves and funky pink hair extensions.

Carrie performed  her single "Undo It" as a solo, before current American Idol judge Steven Tyler joined her on stage for the second half of the song.  The two stars then rocked out with a duet of "Walk This Way" (originally written and released by Steven Tyler’s band Aerosmith).
