Cher Lloyd channels Rihanna

X-Factor star Cher Lloyd has been known as a mini Cheryl Cole ever since she first auditioned on the reality TV show, as she has consistently copied her mentor’s style, from the long hair extensions and fishtail plaits, right down to the same make-up and clothing.

However, judging by the look she’s been working on the X-Factor tour, it seems Cher has a new idol – Rihanna.   Not only has she plumped for bright red hair extensions like the R n B star, she has also begun to completely mimic her style.

Cher leapt about on stage in Dublin with a head full of fiery hair extensions pulled back into a ponytail – the exact same style which Rihanna sported at the  recent NBA game which she attended last week with Justin Bieber.

Reports are rife that Cheryl Cole has not spoken to her protogee since the X-Factor ended two months ago.  Could this be the reason that Cher has apparently switched to using Rihanna as her new inspiration?
