Cheryl Cole unveils new cherry red hair

Cheryl Cole appeared on Saturday’s X-Factor live show with some new, long red locks.  She was only pictured on Friday last week with shorter hair, so it’s clear she’s gone for hair extensions again to give her the length and volume she needs.  She wore her hair in a long, thick braid, swept over one shoulder – a look that’s being worked by many celebs at the moment, including Cheryl’s former protogee Diana Vickers (who also made a live appearance on Sunday’s X-Factor).

Cheryl’s red hair was the main talking point of the most recent X-Factor show. It’s normally the outfits that get all the press attention, but this time it was Ms Cole’s tresses which stole the show.

Cheryl has been changing her hair and her style a lot this year.  It’s been suggested that this fiery new look is the mark of a fresh start, as she seems to have finally moved on from her love rat ex-husband, Ashley Cole.

The Girls Aloud star paired her new do with a black sweetheart neckline jumpsuit and some super high heels. It was an understated yet stylish outfit that complimented her new hair extensions.  A dash of crimson lip colour completed the look.

We don't know if the red hair is here to stay, but we like it!
