Constantly changing your style?
Posted by Jo Roberts on May 17, 2010

Do you mirror the hair habits of celebrities like Agyness Deyn, Victoria Beckham and Lindsay Lohan, and find yourself chopping and changing your look? If so, there could be a reason for this which runs deeper than a simple desire for a re-vamp.
It seems to be the norm for many of these celebrities to switch from blonde to brunette, from blunt crops to voluminous hair extensions – making complete transformations just about every time they visit a salon. They may just be one step ahead of the latest trends, but a recent study suggests that changing hairstyles can be a sign of major change in a person’s life. Perhaps, like Jennifer Love Hewitt, going for the chop signifies a fresh start, following a relationship break-up? Or, like soon-to-be-wed Nicole Richie, a new, darker colour and different set of hair extensions marks a transition to a completely new lifestyle?
While it’s never a good idea to cut hair on impulse, let’s remember that it will always grow back. And, of course, there are always clip-in extensions which provide a quick and easy way of transforming too-short hair in an instant!
