Jennifer Love Hewitt goes to great lengths for her hair extensions

Ghost Whisperer star Jennifer Love Hewitt is often chopping and changing hairstyle, although hair extensions seem to be her preference.  And her devotion to perfecting her tresses was clear to see when she spent a whopping eight hours in a top Hollywood salon, having new weft hair extensions fitted.

Only matter of days ago, Jennifer was spotted with a shoulder length bob and a blunt fringe.  But at the weekend, she left the John Freida salon with an extra 12 inches in hair extensions.  She arrived in bright sunlight, but by the time she left, it was dark! 

Of course fitting hair extensions does not normally take this long.  The mind boggles as to why she was in there for a full day.  Perhaps she kept stopping to make calls or perhaps she had some additional treatments.  Whatever the reason, her hair extensions do look fabulous.
