Kate Middleton sparks hair extensions discussion

Kate Middleton stepped out at a charity event last night and for once, the focus was not on what she was wearing.  Her hair looked fabulous – shiny, sleek and sophisticated, which started the speculation about whether this was to the credit of human hair extensions.  Added to this, her half up, half down do, with curls cascading over her shoulders revealed a visible line on her scalp, which prompted eagle-eyed journalists worldwide to declare that our princess was indeed receiving a helping hand from some hair extensions.

However, it was eventually revealed that this was, in fact, a childhood scar.  If Kate is wearing hair extensions, then as you would expect, they have been professionally done.

Princess Kate, who attended the In Kind Direct dinner in place of her father in law, wore an elegant, aqua Temperley gown.  Prince Charles, 62, had been to visit the Saudi Royal Family following the death of the country's Crown Prince.
