Kate Moss is the new face of Dior Beauty

Things are finally looking up for Kate Moss.  Not only did she get engaged last week to her rock-star boyfriend Jamie Hince, but it has been revealed that she is to be the new face of Dior Beauty.

Kate’s first job will be promoting the Dior's Addict lipstick range, appearing on TV and poster ads.

The 37 year old supermodel was photographed at a Dior party in Paris last week, still sporting those blonde hair extensions and an uncharacteristic splash of colour with her purple chiffon dress (Moss-watchers will know that the fashion icon rarely wears anything other than neutrals).

Always one to be ahead of the trends, Kate has also been spotted wearing her hair extensions long and straight, with a heavy fringe.

It’s quite a coup for House of Dior to be signing up Kate Moss in the year she is set to have a high-profile wedding….we can’t help but wonder if her close friendship with Head Designer John Galliano might have had something to do with it…?
