Katy Perry goes for mermaid-style chic at Arthur premiere

Katy Perry stepped out with her hubby Russell Brand last night at the London premiere of his latest film, Arthur.  Katy is known for her experimental sense of style and she did not disappoint, wearing a mermaid-style, figure-hugging nude gown, complete with cascading, curly black hair extensions, which provided the perfect contrast for her pale outfit.  Looking quite the belle of the ball, she managed to upstage the film’s other star, Dame Helen Mirren, who opted for a rather daring combo of leopard print and leather.

Katy Perry is mid-way though a world tour, but she took a break to fly back and support her husband at the O2 Arena in London’s Greenwich.

Russell Brand, 35, who has reprised the role originally played by Dudley Moore in the remake of the classic comedy, looked uncharacteristically smart in a blue suit.
