Keep it simple this summer with a classic ponytail

Hair extensions are perfect for creating some sassy summer styles, but when you’re hitting the beach, you’ll need some low-maintenance ideas for keeping your tresses off your face and out of the sand.  One style which is always a popular choice for girls with hair extensions is the simple ponytail.  To give this classic ‘do a more modern twist, you might want to consider adding some simple waves, using either tongs or some large rollers.

For going out in the evenings, you can experiment with a more sophisticated look and sweep your wavy ponytail to one side – this is a very hot look right now and one which has been sported by celebs such as Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie, J-Lo and Selena Gomez, to name but a few.  To add a further modern twist, you could add a few clip-in hair extensions in a contrasting tone to give you some instant lowlights or highlights.
