Lady Gaga changes hair colour mid-concert

Earlier this week, Lady Gaga put on a typically memorable show at the MTV Music Aid event in Tokyo.  As she burst onto the stage in a giant spider web, the kooky singer was wearing aquamarine hair extensions, which had set in bunches.  Dressed in a sparkly bra and long skirt with saucy thigh-high splits, Lady Gaga belted out “The Edge of Glory” as broke free of the web.

She then proceeded to rip out the green hair extensions to reveal her favoured style of platinum blonde, as her dance troupe gathered around her and she finished the song.  This marked the beginning of an energetic and emotional performance from the star.

MTV Music Aid Japan is raising funds for the Japanese Red Cross who are still working relentlessly in the aftermath of March’s devastating tsunami.
