Lindsay Lohan returns to her red roots

After all the hoo-ha surrounding the non-removal of her hair extensions in jail and the ensuing accusations of favouritism, Lindsay Lohan’s hair is back in the news once again.  This time, it’s because after months of wearing platinum blonde extensions, the troubled actress has returned to the auburn tresses which we all grew to know and love when she first shot to fame as a teenage starlet.

Lindsay was photographed at the weekend out in Santa Monica, California, complete with her red hair extensions. As a renowned style chameleon, Lindsay’s fiery new style seems an apt choice, given all the changes going on in her life. The question is, how long will she keep the look for?  Watch this space…
