Long hair rocks at the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards

The A-list of the music industry gathered in Spain at the weekend for the 2010 MTV Music Awards.  And while it was the usual suspects who walked off with the prizes, the major talking point of the event was hair. 

Host Eva Longoria changed her style more often than we can remember, switching from wearing her glossy hair extensions around her shoulders to half up-dos and ponytails.

Long hair was everywhere.  Newlywed Katy Perry was there with some dark brown hair extensions (it seems the pink and purple ones have gone – for now).  Taylor Momsen looked every inch the rock chick with her super-long blonde extensions and heavy eye make-up and Miley Cyrus’ hair extensions looked longer and lusher than ever.

Rihanna rocked a crazy beehive and Miley Cyrus and Little J both showed off some new, super-long hair extensions.

The MTV Awards are always a big talking point for the hair and beauty industry, and this year’s event certainly didn’t disappoint.
