Miley Cyrus loses her hair extensions…then changes her mind

In the fickle world of celebrity, it’s not uncommon for stars to chop and change their hairstyles frequently.  However, they don’t usually do it this quickly.  Just a week ago, 17-year old pop star Miley Cyrus was snapped having her hair extensions removed and a new shoulder-length ‘do was unveiled.

Yet according to industry insiders, Miley’s trademark hip-length locks are back already.  And not only was this a super-quick turnaround, she paid a shockingly high price.  It’s reported that the Hannah Montana star spent no less than $24,000 (£16,000) on her new barnet!  She had them specially flown in from Italy to New York, where her favourite stylist is based, then the hairdresser and the new human hair extensions were flown out to Miley in L.A. to be fitted. 

The good news for us mere mortals is that human hair extensions are much more affordable than you might think – and a certainly mere fraction of what Ms Cyrus dishes out for them!
