MTV Video Music Awards: side-swept styles

The MTV Video Music Awards at the weekend saw a host of our favourite stars stepping out in sparkly gowns with hair extensions flowing left, right and centre….but mostly to either the left or right!  Side-swept looks have clearly become the glamorous style of choice for many.

Beyoncé was looking radiant at the event – and she revealed to an excited crowd just why – she’s expecting her first child with singer hubby Jay-Z! In a stunning red dress, with her hair extensions styled in a side-swept ponytail, her pregnancy glow completed her lovely look.

Demi Lovato also wowed the crowds in a shimmering silver dress which showed off her curves perfectly.  She added some volume to her ombre hair extensions, with some large-barrelled curls and she parted her fringe to the side, leaving it to sweep down the side of her face, adding a softening dimension.

Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus are just some of the other stars who stepped out looking fabulous at the awards bash.
