Nadine Coyle reveals why Girls Aloud won’t reform
Posted by Jo Roberts on December 1, 2010

Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle says the band won’t be joining forces again. The reason, she states, is not the rumoured in-fighting, nor is it their solo project successes which will keep them apart. No, the real reason, she claims, is hair extensions.
According to Nadine, the band could not possibly afford the maintenance of their long locks, if they were to get back together. ‘Between the five of us, the hair budget alone was enough to feed a small country,’ she said.
In an interview with i-D magazine, Nadine also claimed that bandmate Cheryl Cole’s superstar schedule would also interfere with any potential reunion. Nadine originally had high hopes for her own solo career, but so far, things have not gone too well. Her album ‘Insatiable’ only reached no. 47 in the charts.
We can’t help but feel the comment about the cost of hair extensions may have been a little tongue in cheek…
