Nicola Roberts gets orange hair extensions

It seems to be a growing trend for celebrities to adorn their hair with brightly coloured hair extensions.  We’ve seen Katy Perry go for pink and purple, Miley Cyrus experimenting with green, Rhianna with bright red...the list goes on.  And Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts is the latest to jump on this colourful bandwagon.  The singer, who is a natural red-head, has chosen to enhance her locks with clip-in hair extensions, coloured a shade of eye-catching, bright orange.

Only a month ago, 24-year-old Nicola - who has become something of a style icon of late - sported a short and sleek copper-coloured bob at London Fashion Week – confirming that clip-in hair extensions are to credit for her suddenly longer locks.

We wonder if Nicola has been inspired by Florence Welch of Florence And The Machine, who also famously enhances her naturally red hair with colourant, to give a striking and almost ethereal look to her style.
