Nicola Roberts goes for retro style

Move over Cheryl Cole, there’s a new style queen in Girls Aloud!  Nicola Roberts, Cheryl’s flame-haired band mate, has really upped her game in the fashion stakes.  With her new, red hair extensions and a penchant for vintage fashion, Nicola has been experimenting with her looks since launching her solo career.

At the weekend, Nicola stepped out in a fabulously bright maxi dress as she attended Cheryl Cole’s birthday party and yesterday she was spotted wearing a flowing denim and floral print dress and chunky platform heels – all in keeping with her new taste for all things retro.

Liverpudlian Nicola was bang on trend with her hair extensions too, wearing them long and straight across her shoulders.

She swaps her vintage glamour for something a little racier in her debut video for her first solo single “Beat of my Drum” – wearing a teeny pair of hotpants and a fitted blazer.
