Nicole Scherzinger makes a stunning first solo appearance
Posted by Jo Roberts on November 29, 2010

We look forward to the X-Factor every week, not least of all to see what the judges are wearing and which contestants are rocking their hair extensions. However, last night’s show was stolen by Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, who performed for the first time as a solo act, something we’ve been waiting a long time for.
The 32-year-old put on a spectacular first live performance of her new single Poison, pulling out all the stops by stepping out of a cage looking like Catwoman, with a leather trench coat and boots and super-long, thigh-length hair extensions. Some may say she drew comparisons with that other kooky performer, Lady Gaga.
Nicole has been working on her solo album for four years, but has suffered a number of setbacks along the way. This was her first live, solo performance and it’s fair to say she brought the house down with her energetic routine, vampy image and flawless vocals.
