Rihanna lights up Times Square

Rihanna was spotted in New York City earlier in the week looking suitably cool with dark sunglasses and a black aviator jacket.  But the real talking point was her bright red hair extensions, which she is currently styling all sleek and straight.  It’s the first time we’ve seen this look on her – and we like it!

Rihanna was in the Big Apple in readiness for a live appearance in Times Square, where she performed her latest single “What’s My Name?”, for a MTV show, “The Seven”.

Just last week, everyone was talking about the 22-year-old’s side-swept fishtail braid, which she debuted on the Italian X-Factor.  We can only wonder what she’ll show us next, as she’s fast rivalling Lady Gaga in the bold hairstyles league?  One thing is certain – Rihanna’s new style certainly matches the title of her new album - "Loud."
