Selena Gomez and Kourtney Kardashian turn heads with side-swept curls

The People’s Choice Awards in LA is one of those events where we know we’re going to see some great new celebrity hair styles – and this year was no exception.  One of the most stunning trends to emerge from the evening was the ultra-glamorous look of side-swept curls, as modelled by reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian and teen starlet Selena Gomez, both of whom used human hair extensions to achieve their great lengths, volume and shine.

Selena Gomez's version was longer, with loose waves, while Kourtney Kardashian opted for a bolder texture with tighter spirals, channelling the trademark locks of screen legend Veronica Lake.

Expect to see some more retro, side-swept action on celebrity heads this year as long hair extensions and old school glamour continue to dominate the catwalks at the moment.
