Selena Gomez experiments with two trends at once

There have been two big trends sweeping celebville lately: coloured hair extensions and blunt fringes. We’ve seen Jersey Shore’s Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi with purple hair extensions; Carrie Underwood with pink ones and Lauren Conrad with a multi-hued selection. Blunt fringes have been sported by the likes of Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift and Kate Moss, to name but a few.

Selena Gomez has trumped them all by choosing pink and purple hair extensions, coupled with an eyebrow-grazing fringe.

The "Love You Like a Love Song" singer uploaded a photo to her Twitter account – but pointed out to fans that the change was only temporary. Selena Gomez is not generally known for experimenting with her hair, preferring to stick with her glossy, long hair extensions – but she does play around with some interesting styles, such as fancy up dos and cascading curls.
