Stars make a colourful impression at MTV Video Music Awards

Monday saw some of the hottest celebrities stepping out at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards and as per usual, they didn’t disappoint with their cool fashion choices and gorgeous hairstyles.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, it was the ever-outlandish Lady Gaga who stole the show.  She started out wearing an opulent, cascading gown but then when it was time to perform, on came the now infamous dress-made-of-meat.  So shocking was her attire that we almost didn’t notice the rather unusual patches of blue dotted around her hair extensions. 

Lady Gaga wasn’t the only one to opt for coloured hair extensions.  Katy Perry was in attendance – still wearing her blue and purple hair extensions – as was Twighlight’s Ashley Greene and Disney actress Selena Gomez who also showed off her new wefts.
