Stars sparkle at the Grammys

The Grammys are always a great night for fashion and last night’s bash in LA did not disappoint.  However, rather than the usual mixed bag of choices, there were two key trends to emerge – metallics and hair extensions.

Everywhere you looked, there were sparkly gowns galore.  Jennifer Lopez was one of the stand-outs.  The singer, actress and American Idol judge went for a tiny Emilio Pucci dress, silver Louboutins and some gorgeous Cartier jewellery – coupled with some extra long, straight hair extensions.

Teen queens Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus also couldn’t resist the trend and both shimmered in sparkling gowns paired with super-long hair extensions.

Another who jumped on the metallic bandwagon was reality TV star Kim Kardashian, who wore a very sexy, bronze halter-neck dress – and yes, she too accessorised with her trademark, glossy extensions.

They may not have all picked up silverware on the night, but we think our favourite fashion icons certainly wore it well!
