Technicolour hair is hot!

We first saw the look modelled by Katy Perry last year.  And if the latest catwalks are anything to go by, streaks of brightly coloured hair extensions are going to be one of this year’s funkiest and trendiest looks.

New York fashion week was a great place for spotting these technicolour tresses.  At Prabal Gurung, hairstylist Didier Malige wove pink, purple and blue hair extensions into the models’ hair, but far from looking garish, the overall effect was pretty subtle. Malige’s secret was to fit the extensions under the bulk of the hair, so they peeped out and accented, rather than overwhelmed.

If you want to try something a little different, then why not join the in-crowd and experiment with some brightly coloured clip-in hair extensions?
