TOWIE girls steal the show at the BAFTAs

The female stars of “The Only Way is Essex” looked sparkly and glam at the BAFTA Awards show last night – putting many style stalwarts in the shade.

With their perfect tans, super-long hair extensions and glittery gowns, the girls cast many an admiring glance. Beautician Amy Childs was the belle of the ball in a gold, fairytale-style gown, showing off her auburn hair extensions to perfection.  Amy’s co-star Lydia Bright also shimmered in a silver strapless frock.  Together with her backcombed up-do, she worked one of the best looks of the night.

It seems metallic was the night’s biggest trend all round.  Everywhere you looked there were splashes of gold, and silver and an ocean of sequins. 

And it wasn’t just the TOWIE girls’ sense of style which was a winner on the night.  Their popular show beat the cream of TV crop including Downton Abbey, Miranda and Sherlock, to win the coveted YouTube audience award category last night.
