Trend Alert: coloured hair extensions

The craze for feathers may be sweeping Hollywood, but brightly coloured hair extensions are equally in hot demand. During Milan Fashion Week, Fendi models showed off streaks of blue in their voluminous up-do's. And now the look is gaining momentum on the red carpets.  Signer Jessie J highlighted her new hair extensions with a streak of magenta at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards earlier this month. Ke$ha and Jordin Sparks are just two other big names to hit on the trend.  And the latest devotee is Britney Spears, who has used a bright array of coloured clip-in hair extensions in the video for her new single, I Wanna Go, which has gone on sale just today.
