X-Factor Halloween show produces some surprises
Posted by Jo Roberts on November 1, 2010

The Halloween edition of the X-Factor may have been filled with some spooky staging, over-the-top make up and crazy hair styles, but many did not compromise in the glamour stakes.
Dannii Minogue clearly trumped fellow judge Cheryl Cole, opting for a simple, sparkly black dress, whereas the Girls Aloud star looked not dissimilar from a ‘purple one’ in a Quality Street tin. Her lovely, cherry red hair extensions were piled up in an unflattering, somewhat ageing style.
The singers themselves turned out well for the most part – with teenager Cher Lloyd stealing most of the plaudits for her rendition of Shakespeare's Sister's hit, ‘Stay’.
Dressed in a long black dress, with tumbling hair extensions framing her face, Cher – who has not proved terribly popular thanks to some unfavourable media coverage – really pulled out all the stops to prove a point, and the general consensus is that she did just that.
