X-Factor: Tulisa is Cheryl’s double!

At first glance of the newly-released promotional pics, you’d be forgiven for thinking Cheryl Cole has returned to the X-Factor. The silver dress, the hair extensions and even the brooding expression are all there – but instead they now belong to N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos.

The new X Factor judge looks spookily similar to the now-departed Cheryl.  Are the stylists doing this deliberately, we wonder?

Tulisa has always been known for her ‘street’ style, favouring tracksuits, big, hooped earrings and peroxide.  Yet since signing up for the ITV show, the N-Dubz star has seemingly stolen Cheryl’s designer wardrobe - and her famous hair extensions.

It will be interesting to see if Tulisa ends up becoming as popular as her doppelganger.

Series 8 of The X Factor launches this Saturday at 8pm.
