Checkout Payment Issues
Some customers may experience problems when trying to make payment and checkout online. This is due to a fire at the BT Exchange in Paddington. The BT Exchange is a network hub for banking transactions in the UK and banks and merchants accross the country have been affected. They're currently working around the clock to resolve the issues. We will update you as soon as everything is back to normal.

Having been advised that the collection vans have not even been able to make it to our local post offices, there is nothing we can do until conditions improve. We have taken all items ordered between Friday and 3pm today to the post office ourselves - where we were advised that items would not be guaranteed for next-day delivery due to the snow accross the country. We regret that we are having to drop the 1st Class Recorded service, as Royal Mail have unfortunately been losing too many of them! Royal Mail strikes, Thu 22nd & Fri 23rd.
Royal Mail announcement. The CWU has announced the intention to hold two national strikes this week, the details of which are as follows: Delivering mail - We'll continue to prioritise Special Delivery and Royal Mail Recorded mail for delivery on strike days, however the nature of the CWU action means we cannot guarantee doing so. In order to provide customers with clear guidance on service, we will be removing the Special Delivery guarantee for items posted on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd which would be due for delivery on Friday 23rd October and Saturday 24th respectively. We will restore the guarantee of delivery as soon as we can be sure of being able to honour the service promise. We expect to be able to do this by Monday 26th. October 20, 2009
